Chicano Studies From A to Z is a series of short, accessible videos where I break down key Chicano/a/x Studies concepts—one letter at a time. I hold a Ph.D. in Ethnic Studies from UC Berkeley and have been teaching for over 20 years. This content is my way of making Chicana/o/x Studies public, relevant, and accessible to everyone. At a moment when Ethnic Studies is under attack, I use these short videos to explain why our histories and communities matter, and why critical education is an act of resistencia.
